Spring Garden Bakery offers two locations in Greensboro - the Spring Garden Bakery and Coffeehouse on Spring Garden Street and the Spring Garden Bakery and Cafe on Albert Pick Road.
The Spring Garden Bakery and Coffeehouse began in the early 1980s as Our Daily Bread, before being renamed Spring Garden Bakery. The bakery serves cakes, pies, assorted morning pastries, cookies, brownies, bars, and most importantly – MUFFINS. Spring Garden Bakery muffins could be described as world famous and are believed to be “the home of the original pumpkin chocolate chip muffin.”
In 2018, the owners of Spring Garden Bakery purchased a coffeehouse and cafe, which was rebranded as Spring Garden Bakery and Cafe in 2022. You'll find freshly baked bread, a larger dessert menu, house-roasted daily fresh coffee and specialty coffee drinks, and a new and improved box lunch program featuring scratch-made bread and freshly baked desserts.
