Taqueria El Azteca is based on a truck stop that’s on Highway 307 South, running through a village called Carrillo Puerto in Mexico. Like that old truck stop, our restaurant is small and authentic (minus the dirt floor). Our food is made in small batches and has that home-cooked feel that makes us popular. However, it wouldn’t be possible without Gloria, the nice lady who works in the morning. She makes fresh tortillas every day while keeping a watchful eye over the kitchen. Offerings include tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and more.
