The Novant Health Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex will host App State vs. Gardner-Webb men’s basketball on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 4 p.m.

The App State Mountaineers come into the 2023-24 season after posting their fourth consecutive .500 or better season last year under head coach Dustin Kerns. Kerns is entering his fifth year at the helm of the basketball program, compiling 39 regular season Sun Belt Conference wins and 45 wins overall during his tenure. This year’s squad will feature Donovan Gregory, who led the team in both points (12.5) and assists (4.3), and Justin Abson who finished last season with the second-most blocked shots in a single season in App State history (70).

The Garder-Webb University men’s basketball program enters its 11th season under the guidance of Head Coach Tim Craft. The 2023-2024 campaign for the Runnin’ Bulldogs will feature impact players such as DQ Nicholas, Quest Aldrige, Julien Somaoro, Celeb Robinson, and Cheickna Sissoko among others.
