We end the season with A String Spectacular beginning with Richard Strauss’ Don Juan, where Strauss presents his take on themes of love and conquest. Violinist and violist Yura Lee joins Maestro Sitkovetsky playing violin for Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola by Mozart. The evening closes when Ms. Lee is joined by cellist Zlatomir Fung for Brahms’ Double Concerto for violin and cello – his only double concerto, and his last work for orchestra.
