How do I make my reservations for the 2024 AAU Junior Olympic Games?
All reservations must be made through Visit Greensboro, via this link (available 24/7). Do NOT call the hotels directly—in order to receive special rates at the approved hotels, reservations must go through Visit Greensboro.
Where can I find hotel options for the 2024 AAU Junior Olympic Games?
All approved hotels can be found on the official AAU Junior Olympic Games housing website. Once you enter your requested dates and number of rooms, the housing site will show you which hotels are available. You can search by amenities and rate range. There is general information about each hotel (local area, dining, amenities, etc.), as well as photos.
How do I make a change or cancel my reservation?
Once you submit your reservation, you will receive an email acknowledging that we received your reservation. Near the bottom of that email, there is a “Request a Change” button. This button will also be in the confirmation email that you will receive once the hotel processes your reservation. You can make changes or cancel your reservation using that button. When is the last day to make changes to a reservation?
The last day to make changes to your reservation using the method above is July 8, 2024, at 4 p.m. EST. If you need to make a change to your reservation after that date, please reach out directly to the hotel.
When is the last day to reserve a hotel room?
The last day to make hotel reservations within the AAU Junior Olympic Games hotel block is July 8, 2024, at 4 p.m. EST. After that date, hotels will no longer be offering special rates for AAU Junior Olympic Games attendees.
How do I reserve rooms for a team of 10 or more?
All requests for 10 or more rooms must be submitted to Visit Greensboro via this link. Please go through and select the number of rooms you need and choose up to 2 hotel preferences for your group. Once you submit your preferences, a representative from Visit Greensboro will reach out to set up your room block and send you a custom booking link for the rooms. Is my reservation guaranteed?
Your reservation is guaranteed as soon as you receive an acknowledgment email from Visit Greensboro. You will receive a second email that will include a confirmation number from the hotel. You may also receive a separate confirmation email directly from the hotel.
What is the tax rate for Greensboro hotels?
Hotels in Greensboro have a tax rate of 12.75%. Room rates displayed on the housing website do not include hotel taxes and fees.
