Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts

The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art-multi-purpose facility with a seating capacity of 3,000 located in downtown Greensboro at 300 N. Elm St. Tanger Center hosts the biggest and best traveling productions in theatre, arts and concerts. The $93 million, state-of-the-art facility has transformed downtown Greensboro, NC by hosting 203 performances in its inaugural year, 88 performances selling out. Managed by the staff of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the 3,000-seat venue is home to touring Broadway productions, concerts, Guilford College’s Bryan Series, Greensboro Symphony Orchestra Masterworks and Pops performances, comedy shows and family entertainment. Since its opening in September 2021 through June 30, 2022, the Tanger Center hosted over 415,000 patrons and provided a wide variety of live entertainment including concerts from multi-platinum selling artists including Sting, Josh Groban, Patti LaBelle, Boyz II Men and Little Big Town, comedians including Chris Rock and Nate Bargatze, as well as a record-setting runs of Broadway sensations WICKED and Disney’s THE LION KING. The 2022-2023 Broadway Season begins in October 2022.
