Originally the Meridian was a beautiful hotel and meeting center, with architecture dated the Spanish Mediterranean style with hints of modernistic elements.
The history of the facility dates back to 1974, then called Royal Villa, Heritage House and other names. A key venue and hotel at the time, it was and still is central to Greensboro, the interstate and commerce, both commercial and retail.

At the end of 2007 Rajas Investments, LLC assumed management of the property immediately providing a new, affordable venue to Greensboro. With the completion of our renovations at the end of 2009, the Meridian will have a beautiful contemporary edge mixed with the class and style originally built into the property.
