Greensboro History Museum

The Greensboro History Museum Museum shares local culture and the city’s significant role in American history, from the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in 1781, to the 1960 Greensboro Sit-Ins, the unforgettable events of September 11, 2011, and much more. Twelve galleries feature the award-winning “Voices of a City” exhibition, the Murphy Confederate firearms collection, First Lady Dolley Madison collection, and textile manufacturing. Hands-on interactives and audiovisuals. Museum Shop available.
