Spend Time on Tate St.

Located beside the UNCG Campus holds a small street full of one-of-a-kind dining and shopping - Tate St. Parking is limited and subject to tows so be prepared and make sure you are parked to reflect the proper business and stay for the time allotted. 


Weatherspoon Art Museum

The Weatherspoon Art Museum is located at the corner of Tate St. and Spring Garden St. and is a part of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. It is one of the largest collections of modern and contemporary art in the southeast with a focus on American art. The museum has over 5 exhibit rooms that display curated works with various themes. No visit is ever the same.  The museum offers free parking and is free to visit. Donations are encouraged.

UNCG Auditorium

The College of Visual and Performing Arts at University of North Carolina at Greensboro brings live performances at the UNCG Auditorium. See College Theatre and Dance, notable speakers, and more.  Parking is available in unreserved spaces in the Tate Street Parking Lot.
