Spread Some GSO Love!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! It’s Tuesday, the week is off and running and we are moving along! I’m still on cloud nine from the gorgeous weather this weekend and thrilled to share where I was able to visit.  I had a private tour of the Greensboro Science Center and my goodness was I impressed.

This place is full of life, literally and figuratively, and I can’t believe I hadn’t been there before. From the massive aquarium exhibits, to the outdoor zoo and ropes course, the Greensboro Science Center is an absolute blast. It’s really amazing how an attraction like this can appeal to just about everyone.

Not only can you go for a visit, they also host birthday parties and day/evening event rentals as well. The Greensboro Science Center is actively looking for ways to expand and keep up support of wildlife conservation.

I’m excited to share some upcoming events to support such an important cause. On May 20th, 2017 there will be a 5k run, “Tuxedo Trot”, to support the endangered African penguins. Friday April 21st from 7-10 p.m. the GSC will host “Brews & Bubbles”. Anyone 21 and older may come out and enjoy walking through the many different areas of the science center while trying different beers, wines, hard ciders and d’oeuvres. Finally, on Friday March 24th from 6-9 p.m. the GSC will be hosting “Pajama Jam”! Children 12 and younger can come out with their families to participate in crafts, games, and even take photos with the Chick-fil-A cow!

I already look forward to going back to the Greensboro Science Center with friends soon. Check out their website and start planning for summer by signing up for camps, classes and more.  Who doesn’t love being able to see an aquarium, zoo and museum all at the same place?!
