When visiting a zoo, people often expect to see animals in exhibits, but at the Greensboro Science Center (GSC) it’s the visitors that will soon be on exhibit. Construction of SkyWild, the first aerial adventure park where zoo visitors can watch participants perform tasks that mimic animal behavior, is underway. Located among the trees in Animal Discovery Zoo, SkyWild is a adventure course where participants complete physical fitness activities and get a bird’s eye view of the zoo.

78 physical feats based on animal adaptations and a variety of short zip lines. It takes approximately 2 hours to complete a route and the adventure course can accommodate about 300 people per day. With three levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced, participants exhibit team building, leadership skills, and physical fitness.

The Greensboro Science Center is a premier family attraction in North Carolina that offers the state’s first inland aquarium, a hands-on science museum, an accredited Animal Discovery Zoological Park and a state-of-the-art OmniSphere Dome Theater.
