It all started in the attic of Bob Page’s home 36 years ago.  Bob had a passion for finding special dinnerware at flea markets. He found a huge demand for old patterns that no other stores attempted to meet, so he started a business out of restoring and finding patterns for others that reminded them of their childhoods or family members.

Today, the company has approximately 11.5 million pieces in over 450,000 patterns accumulated through silver shows, state sales, and 500 suppliers and manufacturers.  It also offers the chance for the public to sell their own pieces to add to the company’s collection.  To sell their pieces, customers can call the store, upload photos to the website, or bring in dinnerware to the on-site location.

Replacements, LTD also offers the chance to restore old or damaged products in the restoration department.  Customers can shop for pieces that fit their personal style and budget at the store location, online, on eBay, or by telephone.

Currently employing 400 people, 80 have been with the company for over twenty years. The reason: Bob fosters a community embodying mutual respect, compassion, and inclusivity. He loves to pay it forward; for the store’s 30th and 35th Anniversary, the company built Habitat for Humanity Houses. This not only brought the company closer as a family, but reflected the core values of respect and sharing that he hopes to instill in others. He also created Bob’s Closet, where he partners with non-profits to give clothes to those in need.
