Dance Project

Dance Project is a school, a festival, a dance company, and a community resource based in Greensboro, with a statewide presence. Our mission is to cultivate the field of modern dance in North Carolina, nurturing a community of artists, audiences and students by providing opportunities for training, performance, collaboration, and employment. We strive to provide professional quality dance with a community feel, because we believe that great dance is for everyBODY, and we work to make dance affordable and available to as many people as possible.

Greensboro Children’s Theatre

CTG’s national recognized Youth Theatre program is at the core of the organization. CTG seeks to introduce new children to the stage, foster a theatre family, and promote a love of theatre for years to come. CTG’s youth programs have worked on premiere shows such as The Lion King Jr. (2015) and newly released Mary Poppins Jr. (2016). Students have been featured on the cover of national musical theatre publications and have gone on to wonderful theatre programs in North Carolina and across the United States.

Drama Center At City Arts

The Drama Center at City Arts presents several theatrical productions each year. Productions range from adult musicals and plays to children’s musicals and plays, to original plays and films. They also offer a number of classes and workshops for children and adults. Productions are presented at several venues around town. Admission fees range form FREE to about $20. Located in the GSO Cultural Center.

Greensboro Opera is a community based company dedicated to fostering the growth of opera, and to presenting professional productions of the highest artistic caliber for the enjoyment, education, and enrichment of the Triad region of North Carolina. International opera singers and local talent combine in full-scale productions performed in the original language with English supertitles. Admission fee. Group rates available.
