Earth Day at the Curb
Mark your calendars! Earth Day is Saturday April 22! In partnership with the City of Greensboro, the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market will be hosting an event for all ages to celebrate sustainability in our community. Live music, interactive ECO & electric buses (free rides through Downtown, demonstrations, free resources, and earth friendly products and vendors along with the Saturday farmers market! At 11am we will host the first ever Live Green Awards to celebrate and reward sustainably conscious businesses in our area. We will have exhibitors and vendors on the Lindsay lawn and lot, including: Triad ECOBus with live critters, Electric Bus Tours of Downtown, Blue Duck Electric Bikes & Scooters, Piedmont Bird Club, Greensboro Public Library, NC Food System Advocacy Coalition- Farm Bill, GSO Water Resources, Sierra Club, Recycling Field Ops, Citizens Climate Lobby/Citizens Climate Education, North Carolina Conservation Network, Sustainably Yours vintage bus, and more to join! Live Music by Judson Clinton! Admission is free.
