Within the past year, several new breweries have opened or announced plans to open in Greensboro. Breweries in Greensboro range from small hometown breweries to one of the largest in the state! North Carolina celebrates NC Beer Month every year during the month of April. Guests during April will find specials on North Carolina Beers and events all month long at participating locations.

Gibb’s  Hundred Brewing Co. is a family owned and operated microbrewery in downtown Greensboro. Brewing a consistently high quality craft beer with a focus on ingredients and craftsmanship. Joymongers Brewing Co. | Greensboro, NC

 

Joymongers Brewing Co. is Greensboro's newest brewery opening in July of 2016! The entire focus of this brewery is local and Greensboro creating a unique expereince for visitors. Joymongers features 20 taps, eighteen beers will be brewed in-house. Of the 20 taps, one-third will be mainstays, one-third will be seasonal beers, and a third will be wildy experimental! www.joymongers.com 

 

Natty Greene's Brewing Company

 

Natty Greene’s Brewing Co. has been brewing beer since 2004, but the local owners have been in the pub business since 1996.  During the mid-90's not a lot of craft beer was available in the Triad and the owners sought to bring together unique craft beer, paired with great food at a great value.  The concept was a hit as the brewery has grown to be the third largest in the state! www.nattygreenes.com 

 

Pig Pounder

 

Pig Pounder Brewery is named after a beer launched by the Darryl’s restaurant chain in 1988. It is a local microbrewery specializing in producing outstanding authentic UK style beers including types like an Extra Special Bitter, an English Dark Mild, and a classic Milk Stout, for local venues. Preyer Brewing Co.  

Preyer Brewing Co. is Greensboro's newest brewery! Open to the public since May 2015 Preyer Brewing Co. is a family run business. Brewing a variety of beers Preyer is located next to Crafted the Art of Stree Food. Red Oak Brewery

 

Red Oak Brewery is America’s largest lager only craft brewery.  This brewery follows the 1516 Reinheitsgebot (Purity Law) the world’s oldest consumer protection law, which means this beer contain only Bavarian malted barley, noble hops and lager yeast. Many of our local breweries are dog-friendly! Bring your pet along to experience Greensboro Beer or take home locally produced Brew Barkers made with Natty Greene’s Spent Grain. Brew Barker treats can also be ordered online. Brew Barkers are produced by arcBarks. arcBARKS Dog Treat Company was created by The Arc of Greensboro in response to an increasing need for post-high school options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

12th Annual Summertime Brews Festival The 13th Annual Summertime Brews Festival will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex July 15, 2017!

Serious beer connoisseur's can enjoy the first samples of the frosty brews during the VIP Brewmaster Tasting beginning at 2:30pm.

All those who, while you appreciate the wonderful craftsmanship of the beers, are less interested measured analytical sips and would rather jump right in to experience as many of the three hundred beers as responsibly possible, may crash the gates starting at 4pm.

VIP tickets are only available at select local retailers. General Admission tickets are available in advance. This event is a sell out every year so get your tickets early! Tickets go on sale in May.
