Greensboro Celebrates National Travel and Tourism Week
National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW), May 3-11, is spreading the joys, and positivity of traveling, and Greensboro will definitely be celebrating! Each year, events are presented in cities, states, and travel business nationwide to show the benefits and the power of travel. The theme of this year’s NTTW is Travel Effect, which aligns with the current industry-wide campaign to prove the benefits of travel. Each year this week is great exposure for all of the good that travel inspires in people’s lives.
In the Greensboro Area alone there are endless things to do, with over 84 accommodations, fantastic restaurants, and fun events for adults and families. NTTW is a time to celebrate every aspect of travel including all of the workers in the industry (from waiters at restaurants to box office workers at attractions, and even cashiers at gas stations). So many people help make Greensboro an outstanding destination! The Greensboro Convention Center and Visitors Bureau will be having drawings to win Greensboro vacation packages, attraction and event tickets and gifts! This is the perfect opportunity for people to explore Greensboro and learn why it is such a great and entertaining place to visit.
