University of North Carolina at Greensboro
UNCG is a diverse but strong and growing university located just minutes from anything in Greensboro. Boasting more than 19,000 students, they compete in 8 different sports in NCAA Division I.

Greensboro College
Located in Downtown Greensboro, this school has about 1,500 students and competes in Division III athletics. Just steps away from campus, you can shop, eat at great restaurants, catch live music, explore the arts, attend a pro sports game and enjoy the hopping nightlife of downtown Greensboro.

Elon University School of Law
Located in the heart of Downtown Greensboro this graduate law school opened in 2006. The university is home to more than 5,000 students and is a private university.

Bennett College
This university opened in 1873 educating newly emancipated slaves. Currently it is an all women’s school and educates about 800 students and competes in 6 sports at the Division III level.

North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University
This is the largest publicly funded black university in the state of NC. They compete at the Division I level in 6 men’s and 9 women’s sports. Currently it educates about 10,000 students.

Guilford College
Founded in 1837, this is the third oldest university in the country and the oldest in the South. Currently, it has around 2,500 students and competes at the Division III level and has enjoyed recent success in golf and basketball winning National Championships in golf.

Guilford Technical Community College
As the third largest of 58 community colleges in the North Carolina Community College System, GTCC serves more than 40,000 students annually from its Jamestown, Greensboro, High Point, Aviation, and Donald W. Cameron campuses as well as its Small Business Center in Greensboro and High Point.
