City of Greensboro - The City of Greensboro provides services to Greensboro residents and businesses, including trash and recycling collection, water and sewer service, public libraries, parks and recreation facilities, and more. The City also works to guide the growth of the city through economic development, planning, zoning and road construction. Greensboro is governed by a Council-Manager form of government.

 

DGIDowntown Greensboro, Inc. - Our core purpose is to lead the development of downtown Greensboro as a prosperous and vibrant urban center, memorable and meaningful for those who choose to live, work, play and invest here .We are a nonprofit organization specifically dedicated to the revitalization of Greensboro’s center city. We believe a vibrant downtown is essential to Greensboro’s quality of life, community image and economic prosperity. We work every day as an advocate for downtown’s businesses and property owners, to attract new investments and to promote downtown as the center for culture and entertainment. We rely upon investments from individuals and businesses for our operations. The 28 member board of directors is comprised of downtown business owners, downtown property owners, downtown non-profit directors and representatives from city and county government. Downtown Greensboro is the source for downtown happenings. Greensboro Chamber of Commerce Greensboro Chamber of Commerce - The Greensboro Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business, working to build and sustain a vibrant economy and a superior quality of life in our community. The Chamber articulates its purpose along four core areas of activity, which include: aiding the profitability of the members, building a better community, small business enhancement and developing future leaders.

Greensboro Economic Development Alliance - Seeks out specific kinds of companies that would find a relationship with Greensboro to be mutually beneficial. The GEDA identifies these companies and assists with educating them on the opportunities and benefits that Greensboro holds for their businesses as well as their employees. Ultimately, the goal is to promote economic growth while improving the quality of life in our community.

 

Greensboro Sports CommissionGreensboro Sports Commission - The Greensboro Sports Commission fosters economic development through coordinating and developing Greensboro's role as a leading site for sports events involving youth, collegiate, amateur and professional organizations.

 

Guilford County - As the third largest county in North Carolina, Guilford County employs 2,500 staff whose mission is to provide efficient, effective and responsive government that meets the public’s needs and improves our community. The County is administered by an 11-member board of commissioners through a county manager form of government.

 

Guilford Merchants Association - GMA is a business membership organization dedicated to providing services and activities to the businesses of the Piedmont Triad. For over 100 years, GMA has provided employee training, resources, networking opportunities, marketing assistance, and business crime reduction initiatives to the community. GMA also participates in community projects and activities such as Fun Fourth, Festival of Lights, Wyndham Championship, Beach Music Festival, High Point Holiday Parade, and many others.

Piedmont Triad Partnership - The Piedmont Triad Partnership is devoted to marketing the 12 counties of the Piedmont Triad for business expansions and relocations. Their website provides information on the business and labor climate, as well as a searchable database of available sites and buildings in the region.

 

ArtsGreensboroArtsGreensboro - ArtsGreensboro is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “champion the arts for everyone in the community.” ArtsGreensboro raises approximately $1.5 million annually to support the arts in the Greensboro community through the United Arts Fund. These funds are reinvested through over 50 grants and programs to schools, artists, and arts organizations. ArtsGreensboro also provides vital services to the community with an emphasis on arts in education, arts in economic development, and arts in health and well-being.
