October events

As the daylight hours get shorter and the leaves are changing colors and falling, a person can tell that autumn is in the air. There are plenty of exciting events for the remainder of the month to keep busy and warm indoors, or bundle up and enjoy the outdoors.

Several comedy and concerts are happening at the Greensboro Coliseum. One of the most interesting and promising is the Bryan Series presents Ron Howard. Check the link http://www.greensborocoliseum.com/ to get tickets for your favorite entertainers.

For all the foodies, there is a Downtown walking food tour with Taste Carolina. Greensboro Cultural Center is hosting Eat. Drink. Walk—a tour de food event.

Art after-school for the kids is being held at the Center for Visual Arts weekdays during the month of October.

Calling all music enthusiasts… Friday nite jazz series is held at Worx Bistro.

Lastly, who can forget the end of the month Halloween celebration? Several ghastly and ghoulish theater presentations are available in Downtown Greensboro; namely Rocky Horror Show, Dracula, and Zombiefest. If you are brave enough, try the Ghost stories at Blandwood.
