Go trout fishing at the beautiful Lake Higgins and take in NC wildlife!
GREENSBORO, NC -- (February 15, 2012) -- Now through the end of March, Lake Higgins will offer public trout fishing at the Taylor Turner Hatchery Pond. Anglers, 16 years and older must have a valid North Carolina fishing license. A trout stamp is not required. The fee is $1 to fish and $3.75 per pound of fish caught. All fish caught must be weighed and kept. This is not a catch and release fishing opportunity.
