The GBC occupies 53,000 square feet in the Executive Shopping Center at 2710 North Church Street, Greensboro, NC. We are a full service Baseball and Softball training facility offering equipment, services and training areas for both individuals as well as teams. Also on site is Carolina Acceleration, a full service speed and agility training center. Founded By Alan Ashkinazy
Alan Ashkinazy, a former Boston Red Sox player, founded the Greensboro Batting Center in February of 1987. Growing up on the streets of New York City, Alan brings a tough enthusiasm to the game. After graduating from The New York Institute of Technology, he played for The Greensboro Hornets in 1985 and 1986. Today, Alan’s vision of providing a top-notch training facility for players of all ages and skill levels is embodied by the Greensboro Batting Center. With a commitment to excellence, community, and the principles of teamwork and sportsmanship, we empower our athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
