Flip Force Greensboro Gymnastics Invitational

Flip Force Gymnastics Booster Club will host the second annual “Greensboro Gymnastics Invitational” at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Special Events Center February 10-12, 2012. This is the largest gymnastics competitions ever held in North Carolina.

1,500 athletes from Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey are attending. The event will attract outstanding boys and girls gymnasts, the best power tumbling and trampoline teams and AAU athletes from across the United States.

The competitions begin at noon on Friday, February 11th. Opening ceremonies, the grand march in of athletes, and a spectacular exhibition & show will be on Friday, February 10th at 7:00pm to 8:30.

Again this year, Greensboro Gymnastic Invitational is the kick off of GYMNASTS CURING KIDS’ CANCER! Flip Force Gymnastics is teaming up with Curing Kids Cancer, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raises funds for cutting edge pediatric cancer research through fundraising efforts. Many gyms across the U.S. have been touched with this horrific disease. After learning that Childhood cancer research is one of the worst funded cancer research programs in the U.S. we challenged all 1,500 athletes to start collecting their pennies now for the Gymnast Curing Kids’ Cancer fundraiser and to bring them to the GGI on Friday, February 11th. 100% of the donations raised by Gymnasts Curing Kids’ Cancer will be given to Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.
