Parade & Street Festival
Downtown Greensboro
Wednesday, July 4th 9:30am-6:30pm
Parade: The Fun Fourth Parade is July 4th in downtown Greensboro, beginning at 9:30am. The Parade route begins at Greene and Bellemeade, proceeds south on Greene, east on Market, north on Church, ending at the Greensboro Children's Museum.
Craftscene: Wednesday, July 4, 2012 9:30am-6:30pm • Downtown Greensboro Cultural District • Davie & Elm @ Bellemeade. Shop for original handcrafted items, commercial crafts and service crafts, by over 75 craftsmen from all over the east coast. A variety of commercially produced items from sunglasses to license plate holders are available for sale in Marketplace.
Food: Food Vendors will be selling everything from the traditional cotton candy, funnel cakes and hot dogs to festival favorites including roasted corn, spiced nuts, lemon slushies and frozen cheesecake on a stick. Most food and beverage items are priced from $2 - $8.
Beer Garden: Make sure you stop by and enjoy the music and the beer! Beer and wine can be purchased with special Fun Fourth tokens.
Amusements and Rides: Wednesday, July 4, 10am-6pm. 2012 rides may include: Kick It, Extreme Obstacle Course, Jurassic Adventure, Circus Train Crawl Through, Giant 22’ Dual Slide, Giant Moon Bounce, Fire Truck Slide, Mechanical Jitterbug Swing and Tubs of Fun. 2012 games may include: Double Shot Basketball, Radar Speed Pitch, Hi Striker, Mini Hi Striker and the festival favorite, Balloon Darts. Have a blast at Karaoke Korner. Come flaunt those mad shower-singing skills and let downtown Greensboro hear all those hidden vocal stylings. This is the time to discover your inner diva!

Thrill to the display of elaborate specialty shells along with Sousa Marches. Seating is available for 7,600 inside the Amphitheatre! Best view of the Piedmont's largest fireworks display. Food and beverage vendors will be adjacent to the Amphitheatre (no outside food and beverage inside the Amphitheatre). Blankets and cushions will be allowed in the Amphitheatre (no chairs, please). The Coliseum will be renting lawn chairs for $5. Tailgating will be allowed in the Coliseum Complex parking lots. For a complete list of Amphitheatre rules, please click here.
